On 3 July 2026, personnel from the Division of Legal Affairs, Walailak University, attended a royal well-wishing ceremony and a Buddhist alms-giving ceremony held in commemoration of the birthday anniversary on 4 July 2026 of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana. The ceremony was held at Busarakham Auditorium, Natural History Museum Building, Walailak University.
The ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University . He was joined by Mr. Theerapong Chuaychu, Vice Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, members of the University’s executive team, personnel, students, representatives from public and private-sector organisations, and members of communities surrounding the University.
Participants attended the ceremony in unity to express their loyalty and profound gratitude for the numerous royal duties undertaken by Her Royal Highness for the benefit of the nation and its people.
During the ceremony, Walailak University students performed a traditional dance in tribute before the royal portrait. Representatives of University units, student leaders, representatives of the Walailak Demonstration Community for Sustainable Development, and representatives of external organisations then presented ceremonial floral tributes in succession.
Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, as the presiding officer, presented the ceremonial floral tribute, opened the ceremonial floral cone, and delivered the royal well-wishing address. He subsequently led all participants in signing the well-wishing book, wishing Her Royal Highness continued good health, happiness, and enduring status as a source of inspiration for the Thai people.
In addition, Walailak University organised a series of public service activities in honour of Her Royal Highness. These included a blood donation activity and the volunteer initiative entitled “Walailak Cares for the Environment: Landscape Improvement” .
The University also organised a commemorative exhibition and invited members of the University community and the public to sign the royal well-wishing book on the second floor of the Professor Dr. Vichit Srisa-an Building. An online well-wishing channel was also made available through the Walailak University website from 1 to 15 July 2026.
Participation in this ceremony reflected the unity of the Division of Legal Affairs personnel in expressing their loyalty and profound appreciation for the immeasurable benevolence of Her Royal Highness.
