On June 30 and July 1, 2025, Walailak University, through the Office of Planning and Strategy, organized a workshop titled “Integration of Risk Management and Internal Control at Walailak University.”
The workshop was held at the Bussarakam Meeting Room, located in the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Natural History Museum Building, Walailak University.
A total of approximately 86 participants attended the training, including members of the Internal Control Evaluation Committees at the sub-unit level across the university.
Among the participants were three personnel members from the Division of Legal Affairs :

The workshop was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwit Wutthisuttimeethavee, Vice President of Walailak University, who delivered the opening remarks and report.
The university was also privileged to receive support from Dr. Avirut Chatmalathong, Director of the Risk Management Center, Chulalongkorn University, who served as the guest speaker and provided valuable knowledge to all workshop participants.
The objective of the training was to equip participants with the knowledge and understanding necessary to connect key information between risk management and internal control. This integration aims to support the accurate preparation of internal control and risk management evaluation reports at the unit level.
Additionally, the training enabled participants to effectively analyze, identify, and assess various risk factors in alignment with the specific organizational context.
