On October 30, 2025, the Legal Affairs Division held a meeting to review and clarify the Personal Data Protection Act in Meeting Room 1/1, Professor Dr Vichit Srisa-an Building. Personnel from various departments attended to listen to and exchange opinions on this law. The purpose of this meeting is to prepare for the assessment based on the 2025 report on recommendations for preventing personal data breaches from cyber threats. This meeting marks the beginning of Walailak University’s journey as a data controller in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), ensuring compliance with standards under the supervision of the Personal Data Protection Office.
