On Monday, 30 March 2026, at Khao Luang Conference Room, Cooperative Education Building, the Legal Affairs Division of Walailak University organized the aforementioned training program. The objective of this activity was to enhance knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to the tort liability of state officials, particularly the State Officials’ Tort Liability Act B.E. 2539 (1996), as well as other relevant legal frameworks and practical guidelines. The program aimed to enable executives and personnel to perform their duties in full compliance with the law while minimizing potential risks of damage to the organization.

The participants included senior executives, namely Vice Presidents, Assistant to the President, Deans, Directors, as well as heads of divisions, legal officers, and personnel from the Legal Affairs Division, totaling approximately 60 participants.

The event was honored by distinguished speakers, including:

• Mr. Kowit Sripairoj, Deputy Attorney General, Office of the Attorney General
• Mr. Kittisak Wongsawat, Senior Public Prosecutor
• Mr. Kunchathan Thadtoon, Provincial Public Prosecutor attached to the Office of the Attorney General

The speakers delivered in-depth knowledge on key issues, such as the determination of gross negligence, legal procedures in cases of tort liability, legal risk management, as well as proper investigation processes and administrative actions in accordance with legal principles.

This training program represents a significant initiative in strengthening the legal capacity of university executives. It promotes transparent and efficient public administration while enabling systematic prevention of legal risks, ultimately contributing to the University’s governance in accordance with the principles of good governance.
