On April 1, 2026, the Division of Legal Affairs, Walailak University, organized a meeting on “Enhancing Understanding of the Walailak University Regulation on Personal Data Protection B.E. 2569 (2026)” at Meeting Room 2/1, Professor Dr. Vichit Srisa-an Building.

The meeting was convened to prepare and strengthen understanding among members of the Personal Data Protection Committee of Walailak University and relevant personnel regarding the implementation of personal data protection measures, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019).

Key topics discussed during the meeting included:

• Guidelines for compliance with the Walailak University Regulation on Personal Data Protection B.E. 2569 (2026)
• Appointment of the Data Protection Officer (DPO)
• Other related issues concerning personal data protection practices
