On May 3, 2025, personnel from the Division of Legal Affairs, Legal Officer Ms. Thitirat Changthong, participated in the opening ceremony of the 41st Thailand University Staff Sports Competition, known as the ‘Tumpang Games.’
The opening ceremony took place from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Tumpang Central Sports Stadium. Prior to the official opening, a torch relay was held, starting from the Tha Sala District Office to the Tumpang Central Sports Stadium at Walailak University. Participants included the President of Walailak University, the District Chief of Tha Sala, the President of the Tha Sala Subdistrict Administrative Organization, leaders from government and private sectors, as well as university executives and athletes. The torch was then passed to Mr. Pradorn Jeenchawna, an employee of Walailak University and former Thai national tennis team player, who lit the flame at the stadium, symbolizing the official start of the competition.
Additionally, the host organized a spectacular highlight performance with lights, colors, and sound under the theme ‘Tumpang Ragnakhonwalai,’ showcasing the prosperity of the university, which is built upon a community with ancient roots. The performance honored the historical development that laid the foundation for the university’s growth to the present day, leaving a strong impression on all attendees.
