Legal Affairs Division, Walailak University Participates in “AI Compliance” Training to Enhance Legal Capacity and AI Governance
The Legal Affairs Division, Walailak University, led by Assistant Professor Jintana Unhavaithaya, Head of the Legal Affairs Division, participated in the training program “AI Compliance: Artificial Intelligence Governance (Batch 2)”, organized by the Association of Legal and Political Studies, during 4–6 February 2026 at Somerset Room, 5th Floor, The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, Bangkok.
Project Objectives
The program was designed to equip executives and personnel from both public and private organizations with knowledge and understanding of how to properly and safely implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) within organizations in compliance with legal requirements and principles of good governance.
As AI technologies increasingly play a significant role in organizational development, their implementation also presents potential risks related to legal compliance, personal data protection, and ethical considerations, which require appropriate oversight and regulation.
Key Training Topics
- Participants gained both theoretical knowledge and practical case studies covering the following topics:
- Concepts and applications of AI in organizations
- Information Technology (IT) Risk Management
- AI Governance and relevant AI regulations
- Intellectual Property Law related to AI
- Data Privacy and Personal Data Protection (PDPA)
- Application of AI in legal operations and fraud detection
