Form for Notification of Information Regarding the Personal Data Protection Officer

Pursuant to the Notification of the Personal Data Protection Committee on the Appointment of a Personal Data Protection Officer in accordance with Section 41 (2) of the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), B.E. 2566 (2023), as published in the Government Gazette on 14 September 2023, which came into force after the lapse of ninety (90) days from the date of publication, namely on 13 December 2023, the Notification prescribes that personal data controllers and personal data processors who are required to appoint a Personal Data Protection Officer shall do so in cases where the conduct of activities relating to the collection, use, or disclosure of personal data necessitates regular monitoring of personal data or systems, by reason of the large volume of personal data involved.
